New Delhi: The price of jet fuel (ATF) saw a sharp increase of 5.6% on Saturday, while the rate of commercial LPG, commonly used in hotels and restaurants, was reduced by Rs 7 per 19-kg cylinder as part of the monthly revision aligned with international benchmark prices.

According to state-owned fuel retailers, the price of aviation turbine fuel (ATF) rose by Rs 5,078.25 per kilolitre, bringing it to Rs 95,533.72 per kl in the national capital, home to one of the country’s busiest airports.

This hike comes after a 1.5% reduction in ATF prices during the previous revision on January 1.
