The injured were sent to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narain (LNJP) Hospital for treatment, according to sources.
Many people were on platform number 14 when the Prayagraj Express train was stationed there, according to the deputy commissioner of police (railway). According to a statement from the official, the Bhubaneshwar Rajdhani Express and the Swantrata Senani Express experienced delays, and its passengers were also on platforms 12, 13, and 14.
According to witnesses, a number of people fell from asphyxia as a result of the heavy rush at the station.
