Superstar Aamir Khan recently attended the trailer premiere ceremony for Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya’s forthcoming film “Thandel” on Friday. South producer Allu Aravind also graced the occasion. ‘Ghajini 2’, the much anticipated sequel, was hinted to by Khan and Aravind during the occasion.

“I should make a 1000 crore film with you,” Allu Aravind told the journalists. ‘Ghajini 2’, perhaps. Aamir Khan responded to this by saying, “Ghajini 2 has been the subject of a lot of online discussion.”

For a while now, there have been rumours that Allu Aravind intends to produce the sequel in both Tamil and Hindi. According to speculations, Aamir Khan will star in the Hindi version of “Ghajini 2,” while Suriya will play the lead in the Tamil version.

What Suriya said about Ghajini 2

Pinkvilla claims that Aamir would reprise his role in the Hindi version, while Suriya will play the protagonist in the Tamil version. Suriya told the portal, “It’s unexpected that you enquired about ‘Ghajini 2’ at this time. After a while, Allu Aravind came up to me with the concept of a follow-up and enquired about its feasibility. “Certainly, sir, we can take it into consideration,” I answered. Indeed, discussions have begun, and work is underway. “Ghajini 2″ could occur.”

“With the rise of pan-India films, remakes of cult films with popular stars are becoming a thing of the past,” the news portal also cited a source. Allu Aravind and Madhu Mantena listened to both actors’ opinions and suggested that the two “Ghajini 2” versions be filmed concurrently and released on the same day.

Though they are waiting for narratives at different stages of development, they both find the premise appealing. The article went on to say, “The script is presently under development, and by mid-2025, we should have a better idea of the progress.”
